On January 28 of this year, a press conference was held in the hall of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the Commission’s Chairman, Davlatzoda Saifiddin Khayriddin - Professor and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan; Quvvatzoda Saydullo Zuvayd - Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Directorate for Education, Culture and Information of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; the Deputy Chairman of the Commission; the Scientific Secretary of the Commission; members of the Board of the Commission; heads of departments and sectors; members of dissertation and expert councils; and representatives of the mass media.
At the press conference, the Chairman of the Commission shared insights on the Commission's activities and recalled the speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, mentioned during his recent address: " Since assuming the office of Head of State, I have consistently emphasized the advancement of science and education as national priorities, devoting unwavering attention to these crucial areas for over three decades. "
At the same time, Davlatzoda Saifiddin Khayriddin the Chairman of the Commission expressed his views regarding the advancement of the field of attestation for high-level scientific personnel, the organization of a unified database of scientific topics, the establishment of dissertation councils, the publication of articles in prestigious international journals, the defense of scientific dissertations, applications for the awarding of scientific titles, the impact factor of peer-reviewed journals, the activities of dissertation and expert councils, the defense of dissertations by foreign citizens and government officials, and other matters related to attestation.
