MOTHER - A PRICELESS TREASURE

On March 5, 2026, a grand ceremonial event dedicated to “Mother’s Day” was held in the hall of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event opened with an inaugural speech and congratulations by the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the Tajik National Academy of Sciences, Sayfiddin Khairiddin Davlatzoda, under the title “From the Lap of the Mother to the Peaks of Science and Politics”. In his address, he highlighted the role of the mother as the primary source of upbringing, moral development, and personality formation, emphasizing the significant contribution of women and mothers to the advancement of knowledge and the progress of society. He noted that, as the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasizes, respecting and honoring women – especially mothers – is one of the key values of national culture and a cornerstone of human society.

It was also noted that the mother is the source and creator of life, a symbol of purity and beauty, a repository of love and loyalty, and a living embodiment of affection and sincerity. The position and status of the mother in human life have been praised and glorified by poets and writers, as well as by scholars and intellectuals of various peoples and nations around the world, with deep respect and boundless love.

Subsequently, the Chief Specialist of the Attestation Department in the field of Humanities, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Suhrab Jurakhonzoda Jurakhon, delivered a presentation titled “Mother – the Source of Life and the Continuity of the Human Generation”, in which he emphasized the unique role of the mother in shaping moral and spiritual values and in raising a healthy and knowledgeable generation.

During the continuation of the event, the People’s Poet of Tajikistan, Muhammad Ghaib, spoke, expressing profound thoughts and reciting heartfelt poetry in praise of mothers, which further enriched the warm and sincere atmosphere of the gathering.

The cultural segment of the program featured the People’s Artist of Tajikistan, Muharrama Sharifzoda, as well as the well-known singers Janatullo Abdulloev and Iftikhor Damdorov, whose performances of melodious songs dedicated to “Mother” enhanced the elegance and emotional impact of the event.

Within the framework of the gathering, commemorative gifts were also presented to the chairpersons of dissertation councils, members of expert committees, active women, and staff of the institution as a token of appreciation.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the leadership of the Commission once again sincerely congratulated the esteemed women and mothers on the occasion of “Mother’s Day,” wishing them enduring health, happiness, and new achievements in their professional activities.
