PROPER USE OF SCIENTIFIC SOURCES IN ARTICLE PREPARATION

On April 7, 2026, a departmental seminar entitled “Bibliographic Managers” was held in the conference hall of the Higher Attestation Commission, with the participation of staff from attestation departments, relevant divisions of the Commission, and other responsible stakeholders.

The event commenced with opening remarks by the organizers, highlighting the importance of integrating modern technologies into scientific practice.

It was emphasized that bibliographic managers serve as essential tools for organizing, storing, and accurately utilizing scientific sources, playing a crucial role in the preparation of academic articles and research works. In the context of rapid scientific and technological advancement, mastering these tools is considered a fundamental requirement for researchers and degree candidates.

The main session continued with an insightful and analytical presentation delivered by Abdullo Mamadamon, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor. The speaker elaborated on both theoretical and practical aspects of using bibliographic management tools, with particular emphasis on academic writing, reference list preparation, adherence to citation standards, and the proper use of sources.

It was further underlined that compliance with contemporary requirements for academic writing-especially the correct use of sources and the avoidance of inappropriate citation practices-is a key factor in enhancing the quality of research outputs. In this regard, the effective use of bibliographic managers can significantly facilitate researchers’ work while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of scientific findings.

During the discussion session, participants shared their perspectives on the issues raised, paying special attention to current challenges in the field, including improving academic writing skills, ensuring proper citation practices, and promoting the use of the state language in scientific research.

In conclusion, it was noted that organizing such departmental seminars contributes to the development of scientific culture, the enhancement of professional competencies, and the alignment of research activities with modern standards.
