On April 16, 2026, a solemn event under this title was held in the hall of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Dedicated to "Tajik Science Week" and "Capital City Day," this significant gathering served as a vital platform for discussing key issues of scientific development, strengthening national identity, and exploring the capital's role in societal progress.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Sayfiddin Davlatzoda. In his speech, he noted that science and enlightenment are the primary factors for sustainable state development, a guarantee of economic progress, and a fundamental basis for modern society. He emphasized that state policy in supporting science and high-level training has strengthened Tajikistan's international standing. Furthermore, he highlighted that Dushanbe, as the nation's political, scientific, and cultural hub, plays a key role in fundamental research, innovation, and the training of competitive specialists.

Continuing the program, the Editor-in-Chief of the Tajik National Encyclopedia, Saidjalol Huseynzoda, presented an in-depth analytical report titled "The Silk Road and the Transfer of Tajik Science." He emphasized that the Silk Road was not merely a trade route but a highway for exchanging cultures, civilizations, and knowledge. Through this vast network, Tajik scholars and thinkers made invaluable contributions to natural sciences, philosophy, medicine, and literature. The report demonstrated that this scientific heritage continues to serve as a solid foundation for modern science.

Following this, Samariddini Jamoli, Head of the Grant Projects and International Relations Department and Candidate of Historical Sciences, shared insights on the "History, Development Process, and Realities of Dushanbe’s Formation." He traced Dushanbe's evolution from a small market village to a modern capital and major political and scientific center. He noted that today’s Dushanbe is a hub for innovation, new technologies, and international cooperation, specifically highlighting its role in attracting investment and infrastructure development.

The event also addressed other critical issues, including the implementation of digital technologies, the expansion of international scientific ties, and the support of talented youth. Participants expressed that in the era of globalization, the effective use of intellectual potential is the primary factor for a nation's advancement.

In conclusion, it was emphasized that Tajik science, bolstered by its rich historical legacy and the immense potential of the new generation, will significantly contribute to achieving national strategic goals.
