STRENGTHENING FINANCIAL CULTURE THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS

On May 14 of this year, an educational seminar dedicated to the development of non-cash settlements was held at the initiative of the representative office of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk." The seminar was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir, heads of departments and sectors of the Commission, and Mirali Samadov, Chief Economist of the Lending Department of SSB RT "Amonatbonk."

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to the expansion of non-cash payments, the implementation of modern banking technologies, improving the level of financial services, and the process of citizens obtaining loans. It was noted that the development of non-cash settlements is a vital direction of the state's economic policy, contributing to: transparency of financial transactions, reduction of cash circulation and         improvement of public services.

The representative of SSB RT "Amonatbonk," Mirali Samadov, provided detailed information to the Commission staff regarding the capabilities of the modern banking system, the use of payment cards and electronic wallets, and the procedures for conducting non-cash transactions. He also emphasized that the widespread use of digital technologies provides a solid foundation for the growth of the digital economy and the enhancement of citizens' financial literacy.

It was highlighted that the effective implementation of the non-cash settlement system increases the operational efficiency of organizations and institutions while simplifying financial processes.

At the conclusion of the seminar, an exchange of views took place, and specialists provided specific answers to the participants' questions.
